Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is different to hypnosis. Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that aims to alter sensations, perceptions, feelings, thoughts and behavior. The interaction involves a professional partnership between the client and the psychologist. Hypnotherapy targets and relaxes the conscious part of the mind while simultaneously stimulating the subconscious part. Unlike hypnosis, one has full control of their actions. The relaxed state of the conscious allows the therapist to make appropriate suggestions to help the client see different perspectives. Through hypnotherapy, we are able to treat most mental health issues that psychiatrists deal with.
