DivMed™, Centre for Divorce and Family Mediation is a division of the Malaysia Counseling Centre. This branch of counseling has been conducting services across Malaysia since 1996.
Divorce can be a tedious and destructive process on a couple’s relationship. In addition, it becomes expensive when lawyers and courts are involved. Mediation seeks to avoid this by offering confidential and impartial services to partners who are experiencing conflict during this period. The psychologist acts as a neutral third party to help address, negotiate and resolve the dispute. We aim to help couples arrive at a constructive agreement and maintain an amicable post-separation relationship. This is in the best interest for the emotional health of the children and parties involved.
The centre also provides training and courses for those interested to engage in the practice of mediation. These sessions will be conducted by our team of qualified psychologists.
